Density Correction Factor – for chemical bulk products (e.g. ethanol, MTBE, methanol, …) tank farm operators all over the globe utilize an industry best practice calculation model, where the density change per temperature is defined to be linear. The DCF is a product specific property, which defines the slope of the linear density change with temperature. It is expressed in units of dimension density / temperature.
