Crude Oil Calculations

When transferring crude oil during a loading process, we measure the amount transferred through either dynamic pipe measurements or static tank dip measurements. In both cases, we need to accurately convert the amount measured – the Gross Observed Volume – into one or more of the following:

• Gross Standard Volume, Mass, or Weight
• Net Standard Volume, Mass, or Weight
