BCS 3.0 Certification Successful

The QuantityWare Bulk Calculations Solution has just successfully completed its certification as the only “SAP® Certified – Powered by SAP NetWeaver®” quantity conversion and governance solution available for the SAP Oil & Gas solution. (To certificate.)

Standards Update: API MPMS Chapter 11.3.3

“API MPMS Chapter 11.3.3 – “Miscellaneous Hydrocarbon Product Properties – Denatured Ethanol Density and Volume Correction Factors” has been issued as a second edition in November 2015. QuantityWare has analyzed this new version and confirms that BCP implementations of API MPMS Chapter 11.3.3 comply with this latest version. With BCS 3.0 CSP01, four new API MPMS 11.3.3 template conversion groups will be delivered”

BCS 3.0 Released

Support release 3.0 of our solution BCS on ERP 6.0 is now available.
All customers with valid maintenance agreements have access to this release as a part of their maintenance service.
The single 3.0 ECC600 technical delivery can be used as an initial install, or be installed “on top” of an existing 10A or 10B system with very little effort. The Release Notes can be found on our Knowledge Base.

Standards Update: ASTM D633

ASTM D633 – Standard Volume Correction Table for Road Tar – has been re-approved and issued as ASTM D633-11(2016). QuantityWare has analyzed this new version and confirms that BCP implementations of ASTM D633 comply with this latest version. As in the previous versions, two apparent typographical errors have been identified and communicated to the ASTM subcommittee for possible correction.

Standards Update: AGA 3 Part 2 – API MPMS 14.2.1

AGA Report No. 3 – ORIFICE METERING OF NATURAL GAS AND OTHER RELATED HYDROCARBON FLUIDS PART 2: Specification and Installation Requirements – has been revised and released as 5th Edition in March 2016. Part 2 of this standard has no impact on the technical installation of Natural Gas Applications (Part 3) or Implementation Procedures (Part 4). However, organizations utilizing the implementation as defined in Part 3 and Part 4 are advised to obtain Part 2 as a reference. No changes of the technical software implementations are required.

ISO 13443(1996) Calculations Working Paper

Without detailed background knowledge of the standards’ implementation guidelines (i.e. lack of detail therein) and SAP CUNI implementation, it is possible to attain differing results from those expected when performing ISO 13443(1996) calculations with BCS 3.0. This paper defines in detail why such variations occur in the Temperature Dimension. The Working Paper can be found in our Knowledge Base.

BCS 3.0 Certified by Virtual Forge

QuantityWare has applied for and attained the “Certified by CodeProfiler” status for its “Bulk Calculations Solution 3.0”. As with the previous release BCS 1.0B, this BIZEC APP/11-related certification states QuantityWare’s commitment to high-quality, transparent and secure code as a technical basis for all other facets of the worlds’ only holistic, ABAP-based quantity calculations solution for SAP Oil & Gas (to certificate).

BCS 3.0 Release Notes

The consolidation of BCS Release 3.0 has been technically completed. Technical assembly and testing is on-schedule with a target release date of September 2016.
