QuantityWare has carefully analyzed the Ethanol CTPL Standard ” API MPMS Chapter 11.3.3 – Miscellaneous Hydrocarbon Product Properties – Ethanol Density and Volume Correction Factors” and confirms support of this standard for BCP 10B.
As a part of support package 02 for the Bulk Calculation Solution (BCS), QuantityWare will be releasing two new products in December 2012:
- Compliance & Transparency – Petroleum (CTP) and
- Compliance & Transparency – Gas (CTG),
These products will allow the “installed base” of SAP Oil&Gas customers to leverage the newly-extended Transparency and GRC functionality of QuantityWare’s powerful and proven Petroleum and Gas cockpits with their existing quantity conversion calculation routines.
Recognising changes in the global energy market and the growing importance of LNG as an energy source, QuantityWare has released its first Working Paper exclusively relating to this topic. The Working Paper can be found on our Knowledge Base.
On June 09 2011, QuantityWare announced its new transparent pricing model, as a positive reaction to important feedback from, and with support of, the industry. One year after this announcement, new and existing customers have positively reacted to the clear and transparent software pricing model and have commented that with the guidance of an easy-to-understand pricing questionnaire, customer self-assessment is a straightforward and simple task.
QuantityWare has completed analysis of ASTM D633-2011 and confirms that the existing BCS 10B implementations of this standard are compliant with the new published standard version from 2011. With QuantityWare note 000042, the relevant user interface (UI) updates (text and online documentation changes) will be delivered in April 2012 for the Petroleum Measurement Cockpit, making this validation visible to business users.
ASTM D633 “Standard Volume Correction Table for Road Tar” has been revised and issued as ASTM D633-2011 in December 2011. QuantityWare will carefully analyze this new standard version and inform its customers about possible changes compared to the previous version. If enhancements are required for existing BCS implementations, the enhancements will be shipped with BCP CSP02 in Q4 2012.
