What languages are supported with the QuantityWare BCS template?

QuantityWare delivers all language dependent quantity conversion template configuration data for the following languages (in alphabetical order):

• English
• French
• Portuguese
• Spanish

These are contained in the current BC-Set. Thus, the language content is only available in the client in which the BC-Set was activated. It must be transported to other clients if required. The main configuration objects, which are visible to users in business transactions, are the reading group parameter descriptions.

The Petroleum Measurement Cockpit (PMC) and the Gas Measurement Cockpit (GMC) transactions are only provided in English.

The PMC and GMC are the single BCS configuration and management console, that are intended for use by expert users and are protected by their own set of authorizations. The PMC and GMC are very complex technical transactions, which would take considerable effort to translate, as the people performing such a translation must know the target language and the technical terminology. Owing to it’s usage scenario, QuantityWare thus has never had a request to provide translation for the PMC or GMC.
